St Luke's Playgroup
Meets every Wednesday from 10:00am to 12noon during school term time. It is open to Parents and toddlers. St Luke's Playgroup is a great opportunity to share with one another and allow children to interact and play. There is a weekly fee of $3.00 per family to cover the cost of children's activities, tea and coffee. Each parent is asked to bring along a piece of fruit to contribute to morning tea.
St Luke's Youth Group
Our Youth Group meets on the first Friday of each month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at St Luke's Church. Youth group is open to all High School aged young people. We spend time playing games, eating, discussion and reflecting on our faith together.
St Luke's Family Service - Sunday @ 10:00am
This service is a mixture of both traditional and contemporary worship aimed especially at families. The principal aim of this service is that all ages should worship and learn together.
On the first three Sunday's of the month we have a short children's programme for smaller children during our sermon time. On the fourth Sunday of each month the whole community come together for creative all age worship. If there is a fifth Sunday in the month we begin with breakfast together at 9:00am and have a short service at 10:00am sometimes followed by a community activity.
The service includes both traditional well known hymns, and contemporary Christian songs. Each week we have time for teaching, creative and interactive prayer and learning for all ages. We celebrate Holy Communion each week - all are welcome!
The service concludes with morning tea.
